“Major subdivision” means the division or redivision of land into more than nine lots, tracts, parcels, sites, or divisions and/or the division or redivision of land into lots, tracts, parcels, sites, or divisions exceeding four acres in total land area for the purpose of sale, lease, or transfer of ownership.
