(1) The building official shall refer to the administrator all applications for building permits for new construction and for additions which increase the square footage of usable space.

(2) Upon receiving an application for a building permit, the administrator shall review it and make any necessary field inspections to determine whether the proposed construction or addition complies with this title. (Ord. 416 § 1, 2009)
