2.20.010 City organization.

(1) The city of Electric City is a non-charter code city of the state of Washington duly organized and operating as a mayor-council form of government with a council of five as provided by law.
(2) Pursuant to law, the city by ordinance shall provide for a city clerk and such other officers and the appointment and removal of those officers as the city council shall deem appropriate. The city shall provide for a chief law enforcement officer of the city.
(3) The council shall select a mayor pro tempore at its first meeting in each even-numbered year following municipal elections in odd-numbered years. (Ord. 380 § 1, 2006)
