(1) The maximum number of household pets permitted to be kept in conjunction with each permitted dwelling is as follows:

(a) No more than two dogs and three cats over the age of six months;

(b) Unlimited numbers of mice, hamsters, gerbils, parakeets, finches, canaries and other similar exotic birds and songbirds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and other similar animals and birds may be kept;

(c) No more than the permitted number of livestock for the zone as set forth in ECMC Title 18, Zoning.

(2) The keeping of household pets for the principal purpose of sale and profit is prohibited.

(3) All household pets shall be kept and maintained in a manner which confines their movement and activity to the premises of the owner.

(4) All household pets shall be kept in such a manner so as to not create any objectionable noise or odor or otherwise annoy or disturb the public. (Ord. 545 § 2, 2019)
