It shall be unlawful for any person to:

(1) Fail to register a potentially dangerous dog or dangerous dog under ECMC 6.08.110(1) within 30 calendar days of bringing the dog into the city limits or after it has been declared a potentially dangerous dog or dangerous dog;

(2) Fail to keep a potentially dangerous dog or dangerous dog in a proper enclosure as defined in ECMC 6.08.030(6);

(3) Allow a potentially dangerous dog or dangerous dog outside of a proper enclosure, unless the dog is muzzled, restrained by a substantial chain or leash and under the physical control of a person over the age of 18 years who is of sufficient size and stature to control the animal. The muzzle shall be made in a manner that will not cause injury to the dog or interfere with its vision or respiration but shall prevent it from biting any person or animal. (Ord. 547 § 1, 2019)
