The city of Electric City municipal water system is the potable water system for the city of Electric City and connection to the system for potable water service is mandatory. Any property located within 200 feet of a city water main shall be required to connect to that water main and extend such main through their property. Any property located more than 200 feet from a city water main shall be exempt from such requirement until such time as a city water main shall be located within 200 feet of that property. At such time as a city water main shall be extended and located within 200 feet of that property, the requirement to connect to and extend the water main stated herein shall apply.
