There is hereby created and established a board of trustees for the administration of this chapter. Said board shall consist of the mayor; city clerk-treasurer; one council member of this municipality, said council member to be appointed by the majority vote of the council; the chief of the fire department; and one member of the fire department to be elected by the members of such fire department for a term of one year and annually thereafter. These members shall serve for a period of one year, except for the first board, and their term of office shall coincide with the term of office of the member of the council of the city of Electric City.
