(1) It shall be the duty of the chief of police, or a designee, of the city to require any person to produce a business license and to enforce the provisions of this chapter against any person found to be violating the same.

(2) The chief of police, or a designee, shall report to the city clerk-treasurer all violations of this chapter and the city clerk-treasurer shall maintain a record of each license issued and record the reports of violations therein.
